薔薇の花というのは何か特別なモノだ。
他の花と違って気軽に上げるわけにも行かないし、
何より「はい、そこで売ってたから」といって渡せるような
花ではない気がする。

赤絨毯の敷いてあるホテルのラウンジで、
スーツを着た金色の男の子がDry Matiniとかを飲みながら、
サッと渡してくれるのが深紅の薔薇だと思うのは、
林真理子かなんかの読み過ぎか。

The flower of rose is something different from other flowers,

as I might give if not roses.
